Case study 02
From manual conversations to a professional online presence built around discovery, trust and booking enquiries.
Mbazi Safaris already had the safari experience, local knowledge and service. What the business needed was a professional digital home where potential guests could discover the company, understand its experiences, build confidence and take the next step toward booking. Afro-Intelligent worked with the client to turn that need into a responsive tourism platform designed around the real customer journey.
The starting point
Before the project, Mbazi Safaris needed a stronger central online presence where potential guests could understand the business and move from interest toward an enquiry.
Tourism customers often encounter businesses through social media, referrals, WhatsApp or search. Those channels are useful, but they do not replace having a professional home where the business controls its story, presents its experiences clearly and gives potential guests an obvious next step.
Afro-Intelligent’s job was not simply to put information online. The goal was to create a trusted digital destination for the business.
Understanding the customer
These are normal questions a potential guest may have when evaluating a tourism provider online. The site was structured to answer them progressively through branding, local information, safari descriptions, guide information, photographs, reviews, contact information and clear enquiry actions.
Is this business real?
Who will take me on the safari?
Where are they based?
What experiences do they offer?
Can I see what previous guests experienced?
How do I contact them?
Can I use WhatsApp?
What happens after I send a booking enquiry?
Our approach
Before building, Afro-Intelligent worked to understand the business, its services, its customers and how Mbazi wanted to present itself. The process focused on translating the owner’s knowledge of the safari business into a digital experience that potential guests could understand quickly.
We gathered information about the business, safari experiences, operating areas, contact methods and customer journey.
We looked at what a potential guest needs to know before feeling comfortable making an enquiry.
We organised the content so visitors could move naturally from discovering Mbazi to exploring safaris and contacting the business.
We created a premium visual experience appropriate for a safari and tourism company.
The website and supporting functionality were developed into a responsive digital platform.
The client reviewed the work and provided feedback.
Fair revisions were incorporated to bring the product closer to the client’s expectations.
The system was published as Mbazi Safaris’ digital home.
The build
The result is more than a collection of pages. The website brings Mbazi’s identity, safari experiences, customer trust signals and enquiry journey together in one place.
A central online destination where Mbazi controls how the business and its experiences are presented.
Visitors can explore the safari offering and learn about the Kruger and Panorama Route experience.
Interested guests have a structured path for sending a safari enquiry so the Mbazi team can continue the booking conversation.
Visitors who prefer direct conversation can move easily into WhatsApp.
Guest feedback helps future visitors understand experiences other customers have had with the company.
The website communicates Mbazi’s local knowledge, guides and connection to the region.
Visitors can clearly see how and where to contact the business.
The website works across desktop and mobile screens.
Private administrative functionality supports the management of relevant website information.
Business operations
While customers interact with the public website, Mbazi also has private administrative functionality supporting the management of the digital platform. This separates the customer-facing experience from internal business controls.
Internal functionality stays separate from the public guest experience.
The business can manage the website information that supports its customer journey.
The public enquiry pathway gives the team a clear next conversation.
Customer information submitted through digital enquiries should be handled responsibly and only for the purpose for which it was provided. No private customer data is displayed in this case study.
Visual proof
Safari customers may discover the business from a laptop at home or from a phone while planning their trip. The Mbazi experience was designed to remain clear and usable across screen sizes.

Customer behaviour
The case study is built around how a potential guest actually moves from curiosity to conversation.
Search, referral, social media or WhatsApp creates the first point of interest.
The guest arrives at a central home for the brand.
Safari options and destinations make the offer easier to understand.
The guide, local story and operating areas add context.
Imagery and guest experiences help the visitor evaluate the business.
Clear information answers the questions that sit behind an enquiry.
The guest selects an experience or decides what to ask.
The booking pathway or WhatsApp starts the conversation with Mbazi.
The business can respond with the detail needed to shape the trip.
Trust by design
A tourism website must do more than look attractive. A potential guest may be planning an important trip from another city, province or country. These elements help visitors evaluate and understand the business before they make contact.
Client collaboration
Afro-Intelligent did not disappear after receiving the brief and return with a finished product. The project involved communication, review and fair revisions so the client could help shape the final experience. Feedback was considered throughout the process while Afro-Intelligent maintained responsibility for the technical execution, UX structure and digital implementation.
The client understands their business better than anyone.
Afro-Intelligent translates business knowledge into a digital system and customer experience.
The product is reviewed, adjusted where appropriate and prepared for launch.
Client satisfaction
The client has expressed satisfaction with the current product and the digital presence created for Mbazi Safaris.
A professional digital home for the business today, with room to grow.
Continued evolution
A business does not stay frozen after launch, and its digital systems should not either. The current Mbazi platform reflects the business’s needs today, but its content, functionality and customer journey can continue changing as the company grows, learns from customers and introduces new requirements.
The product is therefore treated as a living business asset rather than a one-time static design.
The result
Mbazi Safaris now has a professional digital home that brings its brand, safari experiences, customer information, reviews, contact channels and booking enquiries together.
Potential guests have a central place to discover the business and decide whether they want to start a conversation with the Mbazi team.
For the business, the website provides a foundation that can continue developing alongside its operations.
More than code.
We listen to the business, identify the customer’s questions, structure the experience around those questions, design and build the technology, work through feedback, launch, and leave room for the product to evolve.
If customers are discovering your business through WhatsApp, referrals, social media or word of mouth but do not have a strong digital home where they can understand and engage with your business, let’s talk. Afro-Intelligent builds practical digital systems around real business problems.
